16 WAPT Meteorologist Christana Kay has the forecast for Jackson and Central Mississippi.

Happy Saturday, Everyone.

Temperaturestoday are going to be warming up to 76by 9 82 by noon this afternoon.Temperatures warming up into the mideighties Good news is, will feel likethe mid eighties real feel.

Temperatureis not really going to be much higherthan that.

We'll have a few passingclouds later in the afternoon into theevening hours as well.

Some tonighttemperatures still in the eighties. It's not going to be until after sunset, when we start to see the temperaturestake a dive into the seventies.

Now,overnight tonight we're dropping downto around 60 degrees of the light windout of the Northeast.

Our northernmostcounties could possibly seetemperatures in the upper fiftiestomorrow morning, so overall acomfortable start.

But we will be alittle bit on the money side tomorrowafternoon with highs back in the middle80.

So today we have that cold frontthat's sagging towards the South, showers and storms ahead of the linefrom New Orleans all the way up towardsRichmond, Virginia and parts ofJacksonville, Cape Canaveral.

Butbehind that, we have a high pressure, settling in dry air back in place winstaying out of the North, which is thegood news, keeping us a little bit onthe clearest side.

But that cold frontis not helping us at all when it comesto our temperatures.

Now for tomorrow, very similar set up that front, starting to stall around Bay ST LouisGolf Port and New Orleans.

So whatthat's going to do for us is that'sgoing to remain a little bit more onthe cloudy side and our southernmostcounties, but partly cloudy skies forus here in the metro, staying dry onceagain for your son.

It will be likethat for the next several days.

Butkeeping an eye on the tropics as thingsare quiet here, we do have thistropical wave in the mid Atlantichaving a possible development withinthe next 2 to 5 days.

If this end upforming into a named storm, crystal isgoing to be the next named storm.

Theywere also keeping an eye over into theGulf of Mexico as well.

There's apossibility of a surge of moisturethat's going to develop downs firmdecon tam Peninsula all the way up.That's going to be in until mid to lateof next week.

But it's just a area.

Toewatches.

Things are starting to brew upand the Gulf of Mexico.

But back athome for us, for next week, we're gonnahave a high pressure settling on itover in parts of Iowa.

But for most ofcentral United States and even parts ofthe Southeast, including us, here,we're gonna be hazy, hot and humid, staying dry, though not really lookingout much to rain development at all fornext week.

But we will haveTemperatures in the nineties were goingto heat up the first day ofMeteorological Summer starts on Monday. It's going to be, Ah, hot one next week. But the good news is real.

Feeltemperature is staying in the lownineties.
