Coronavirus may change a lot of things with memorial day weekend in full swing ...but that's not stopping midcity from giving you something to do for fun... all while keeping 6-feet apart.

Tonight... at midcity district on university drive... its hosting a drive in movie for you to enjoy free of charge.

Waay-31s alexis scott is live at midcity now with what you can expect a little later... alexis..

In just one hour people can start driving up and claiming their spots to watch the movie.

This parking lot holds nearly 300 people... but tonight they're taking half that amount of cars.

This way they can maintain six feet between each group!

You'll also be able to hear the movie just fine by rolling down your window -- with speakers set up around the lot!

You'll also notice porter potties too!

And if the weather permits it -- you can enjoy a meal outside on table and chairs that are spaced 6-feet apart from each other!

I was told staff will be wearing a mask for your safety and they ask if you step away from your vehicle -- to wear one as well.

Midcity is offering food that's already prepared to minimize risks and they only ask you send one or two people to grab it instead of a large group.

The shopping district also placed sanitizing station across the parking they want to remind you to have fun but to know but keep in mind these rules and regulations are put in place for a reason.
