Vizianagaram municipal administration has demolished historic 'Three Lanterns Pillar' in the city.
It is situated at tri-junction of three major roads.
The pillar is so significant that the junction became popular as Three Lanterns Junction.
Now the administration is planning to build a new construction at the same place.
But locals are shocked over the sudden demolition of historically significant identity of the city.
