Starting tomorrow: the tehama county sheriff's office and the corning police department will be opening a new life jacket loaner station.

We usually find boaters or people on tubes or paddleboards on the sac river that arent aware that law requires them to have life vests for adults readily available and children under 12 must be wearing them the sheriff's office says: the life vests will be inspected once a month for any tears or rips.
But to also prevent the spread of coronavirus: law enforcement says: they will be disinfecting and sanizting each vest.
