Movie theaters and public playgrounds will remain closed in Indiana for at least three more weeks under revisions to the state’s coronavirus reopening plan signed by the governor Thursday.

Indiana plan starts today, but it will look at little different than originally planned.

Movie theaters and playgrounds will no longer be opened today as part of stage 3.

Holcomb says theaters will now open in stage 4 along with other entertainment venues.

There is no date announced yet for when playgrounds will reopen.

The state will move to stage 4 in mid- june if health indicators remain positive.

This includes the state having fewer hospitalizations due to covid-19.

So what does open today?

Gyms and fitness centers are still set to open with restrictions.

Each gym is different, so be sure to check with your gym on their guildlines.

Phase three also allows for social gatherings of 100 people or fewer.

Retail can also reopen at 75-percent capacity.
