Jeremy Hunt has urged people to use NHS services for life-threatening, non-coronavirus related illnesses.
The chair of the Health and Social Care Select Committee said: “The issue at the moment is not that people can’t get treated promptly; it’s that a lot of people aren’t coming forward”.
