VARIOUS OF AFRICAN PENGUINS EXPLORING HABITAT WITH OBSTACLE COURSE WITH COLOURED BALLS, SAND HOLLOWS AND FENCING STORY: African penguins were in for an adventure after their morning swim as keepers set up an obstacle course at their habitat at Singapore Zoo.
"The workout strengthens their legs as different muscles are put to use to navigate new environments," the zoo told Reuters in an email.
According to the zoo, the activity helps prepare the penguins for their next adventure as they explore the zoo, which is currently closed as part of measures to reduce the coronavirus spread.
