Food and Drug Administration has approved a new test for COVID-19, reports UPI.
It allows users to collect their own samples for evaluation for the price of $119 per test.
The test will be available in the next few weeks for people who have symptoms of the new coronavirus.
It will also be available to healthcare workers and those at risk for serious illness after infection.
Tests have been incredibly difficult to come by in the United States.
Having this test available allows people to test themselves from the safety of their own homes.
