Teacher shows third-graders how to email, gets unexpectedly hilarious messages

A Chicago third-grade teacher, who showed his students how to email so they could learn from home, couldn’t help but be amused when they sent him hilarious messages.

“So we are closing my school for 2 weeks and it’s been really stressful,".

"but the highlight was teaching my 3rd graders how to email so they can email me questions & I got these throughout the day,” the teacher tweeted.

One student decided to check in on the teacher, writing, “how are you hope you are ok”.

Another sent an email that had nothing but emojis.

A third wrote “nothing” in their email’s subject line and simply said “hi”.

While the fourth decided to ask about the teacher’s chihuahua.

“How is bean doing?” the last student wrote.

“Miss you!”.

The teacher’s tweet has since gone viral, receiving over 146,000 likes and more than 200 comments.

In an interview with Today, the teacher said he had set up Google Classroom accounts for his students so that he could communicate with them from home
