No Room At The Inn? Americans Quarantined In Bethlehem Hotel

Fifteen Americans have been quarantined in a hotel in Bethlehem.

According to Reuters, a Palestinian government spokesman said Saturday it is part of precautions against the coronavirus.

The city in the occupied West Bank has been in lock down since cases of the virus were recorded there on Thursday.

Security forces wearing masks and gloves were stationed around the hotel on Saturday.

Authorities have shut schools, put restrictions on travel in and out of the city, and turned away tourist busses.

They have also closed the Church of the Nativity, believed to be the birthplace of Jesus.
