Prince William impressed onlookers, including his wife, by showing off a skill for juggling.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were enjoying performances from a range of acts at Tribeton, an iconic Art-Deco building in Galway, when William seized the opportunity.
The royal couple had been given a sneak peal of some of the artists that will represent the city later this year when it becomes European City of Culture.
