Protesters demand Governor Cuomo to postpone proposed plastic bag ban in New York

Ydanis Rodriguez stood alongside Mark Gjonaj, both from the NYC council, to express concerns regarding the incoming plastic bag ban and its impact on small businesses.

They are asking Governor Cuomo to give them three more months before banning plastic bags.

They said the community needs more education and bodegas need more time to get rid of already purchased bags.

This protest took place on February 20.
