Riot police clashed with student protesters outside the National Pedagogic University in Bogota on Thursday (February 13).
The protesters demonstrated in support of students in Medellin after the mayor announced that Esmad, Colombia's riot police, will be able to enter the premises of the city's universities in the event of riots.
Similar clashes erupted outside universities across the capital.
