Angelina Jolie to Create BBC Show Focused on Identifying Fake News BBC recently announced a new partnership with Jolie to create ‘BBC My World,’ a program focused on explaining pressing international issues.

The show will reportedly be aimed towards children with the intention of explaining stories and offering facts to help them identify fake news.

In a statement, executive producer Jolie said she hopes the show will help “connect” children from around the world.

Angelina Jolie, via ‘Variety’ Jamie Angus, director of BBC World Service Group, also released a statement, saying the show will provide children with the “tools” to “distinguish the real from the false online.” Jamie Angus, via ‘Variety’ Radzi Chinyanganya and Nomia Iqbal are set to anchor the new show each Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Each broadcast will be available in 42 languages.

It will also air on YouTube and be accompanied by a learning segment and lesson plans.
