A grenade attack on a police post in Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir state in north India has left at least one person injured on January 24.

A grenade attack on a police post in Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir state in north India has left at least one person injured on January 24.

Militants hurled a grenade at a police post in Waniyar Chowk in the Noorbagh area of old Srinagar city, targeting army officers present there.

An officer of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was injured in the grenade attack, CRPF said.

The CRPF personnel received splinter injuries on both of his legs and right eye and was admitted in Shourya hospital.
