The Duchess of Cambridge has praised Wildlife Photographer of the Year awardentrants for capturing the “magic of the natural world” as she unveiled thewinner. Kate announced that Russian photographer Sergey Gorshkov had scoopedthe prestigious Natural History Museum prize with his image The Embrace,showing a Siberian tigress hugging a fir tree. Britain's Queen Elizabeth on Monday congratulated entrants to Hold Still, a photography project launched by Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton to capture a snapshot of the nation in coronavirus lockdown.
Speaking after a raid in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, Assistant ChiefConstable Pete O'Doherty says police working on Operation Venetic havearrested more than 50 people in the south-east region. The operation isdesigned to catch criminals who use Encrochat, an encrypted platform used byserious organised criminals across the UK. A total of 13 warrants wereexecuted with six arrests, five of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and onefor firearms offences.
