Shopping: In stores or online?

Cyber monday is just about over... so be sure to get your lastá minute online shopping in soon.

With just 22 days left until christmas... many are crossing off their list without even leaving the house.

Still á some folks like the holiday hustle and bustle in the stores.

Kimt news 3's nick kruszalnicki is live in mason city with the big shopping dillema.

George á i've been scanning through some of the major shopping sites and there's no doubt there are lots of great deals out there.

For some folks in mason city, being glued to the computer is no substitute for the real action out at the stores.xxx "i truly like to go to stores better.

You just get to check things out a little bit better.

I like online shopping too, but it's just more fun to go in and check things out in person."

Rebekah whitehurst has done her fair share of online shopping for christmas, but still she thinks there is no replacement for seeing the product in real life.

"you get better ideas about what you want and see things sometimes you don't always see."

Julie wondra has driven all the way to mason city from albert lea to make some purchases... she's looking for something very specific.

"i was actually trying to find cardinals for our christmas tree, but unfortunatly they don't have the size that we need."

While she admits to surfing the web for christmas deals, wondra says she has found a good way to get internet prices in the brická andámortar stores.

"you can go into the store and go 'hey, i got a better deal online can you price match?'

And they'll price match and then you don't have to worry about shipping because that's like the one of the more annoying things about online shipping."

These smart shoppers also revealed what is on their shopping lists for the big holiday coming up.

"i buy equipment for all the kids to go outside.

Buy 'em a baseball, basketball, whatever.

Get outside and have some fun."

"probably books, i'm actually a really big reader and i like to read books."

"i'm just hoping that i can find stuff that walmart and the home depot will price match with online and competitors prices.

But be careful, some stores will not price match with amazon or other internet retailers.
