WILLIAMS CATCHING BALL THEN THROWING IT STORY: New Zealand's cross-code player Sonny Bill Williams was reported on Tuesday (November 5) to have signed a multi-million dollar deal to play rugby league for Toronto Wolfpack in the English Super League.
The 34-year-old two-time Rugby World Cup winner played his final game for the All Blacks in their victory over Wales in the third-place playoff in this year's tournament in Japan last Friday.
The two-year deal would make Williams the highest paid rugby league player in the world.
Toronto qualified for the Super League last month to become the first North American city to host top tier rugby matches.
