(SOUNDBITE) (English) CHELSEA MANAGER, FRANK LAMPARD, SAYING ABOUT WHETHER HE THINKS TEAM WILL FEEL LIKE IT'S THROUGH IF THEY BEAT AJAX: "We're not able to say that until we're officially in the next round and I felt at the start of this group it was going to be tight because I think there's a belief that I think probably the teams could take points off each other.
It's proved a bit correct.
But we've had two good results and another one would be great for us of course with two games left.
But we must understand that even though we're at home now, the quality of Ajax and the danger of them is certainly as much, if not the same as the game that we played away because they're such a good technical team." 3.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) CHELSEA MANAGER, FRANK LAMPARD, SAYING ABOUT EXPECTATIONS FOR CHELSEA IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: "It's something that I have to accept is expected of Chelsea to go through, and that's not disrespect to other teams because I said already how hard the group is.
But ourselves, our expectations, I think that might be somewhat why we had the reactiOn after Valencia.
We wanted to prove, we wanted to go to Lille and Ajax and get results, we did.
But the only answer for me is that we have to have exactly the same attitude, preparation and input as we put into those last two performances.
Because at this level, if you don't, you're not going to get the results.
So, it's very much a case of not getting away from ourselves in this group and getting the wins to hopefully get us through." 7.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) CHELSEA MANAGER, FRANK LAMPARD, SAYING ABOUT DANGER OF AJAX: "Well, I would expect something similar because I think the game was pretty true.
It was a very good Ajax team that had a great record going into that game.
Won all their games.
I understood that going into it, the players understood that and we knew we had to be at our top level to get the result I think we were.
I also think we can improve but in the game itself we did so many of the things we needed to do to stop Ajax being so good on the ball, which they are, to stop them playing through the lines, which they can, and we gave them some problems ourselves.
So, I thought it was a fantastic game to be involved in, to look back on and we will have to perform at our highest level because I expect more of that from them tomorrow." 14.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) CHELSEA MANAGER, FRANK LAMPARD, SAYING ABOUT DIVISIVE VAR USAGE IN PREMIER LEAGUE: "I would work with it at the moment and see how we can improve.
I think it needs to be a really open conversation between referees, managers, fans, whatever.
I know there are so many different opinions, it's not easy.
I think the clinical decisions are an improvement.
I know Firmino (Liverpool player), was the one that was very, very borderline at the weekend which people would disagree with, but I think the clinical nature of offside and goalline technology would obviously be a positive.
It's the subjective, in-between ones that we really need to I think decide on where we're coming from with this idea of clear and obvious because at the weekend there was a lot of not clear and obvious.
Some were overturned, some were not, whatever, and that's not ideal.
And I felt really sorry for (Spurs players) Son yesterday because of the nature of the injury and his reaction and the fact he took a red card, when looking back at the tackle no way did the force of his tackle effect the injury.
That's something that's horrendous and happens occasionally.
So, I felt obviously for (Andre) Gomes as well, but sorry for him in the moment." 19.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) CHELSEA PLAYER, MASON MOUNT, SAYING ABOUT CHELSEA PREVIOUS WIN AGAINST AJAX: "If I look at big performances that's probably number one.
As you said, they done so well last season, and us going into the game knowing they won both games in a very good position in the league, in the table, we knew we had to go there, be very professional and do a job.
And we did that and that put us in a very good position in the group.
So, we know how important this next game is.
They're going to be right up there, they're playing so well.
They're a very, very good team.
So, we just need to keep working hard and hopefully bringing the performance in Holland, bringing it back to England and kind of replicating that." 23.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) CHELSEA PLAYER, MASON MOUNT, SAYING ABOUT HOW THE TEAM WANTS TO WIN A BIG TROPHY: "Definitely.
We're so tight as a team, the bond is so good, so I think we've got that kind of focus, that kind of togetherness that we need to win trophies and that's our next goal to win a major trophy.
And I think we just need to keep kind of getting better and better and that's what we've shown over the last couple of weeks that if we carry on this performance, this level of performance we can definitely be a top contender in any trophy." 26.

MASON MOUNT TRAINING WITH WILLIAN AND TAMMY ABRAHAM STORY: Chelsea manager Frank Lampard warned his squad on Monday (November 4) of the dangers posed by Ajax's 'technical' players.
The London side take on their Dutch opponents at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday (November 5), just weeks after Lampard's young team surprised many with a convincing 1-0 win in Amsterdam.
Lampard said expectations are always high on Chelsea in the Champions League, a trophy they won in 2012, and might help explain why his side had the mental strength to beat Lille and Ajax following a disappointing 1-0 loss at home to Valencia.
Lampard, who is experiencing his first season as Chelsea manager, also warned his players not to take the technical ability of Ajax lightly and said they would have to play at the 'highest level' on Tuesday night.
The Dutch side impressed on a run to the Champions League semi-final last season before they were agonisingly knocked out in the final minutes by Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount, who played a season on loan in the Netherlands with Vitesse Arnhem, knows his side have to replicate their winning performance in Amsterdam when Ajax visit on Tuesday.
Mount also spoke of the special bond the Chelsea squad has built, with the likes of young talents such as Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi, starring in the first team.
What will be the next stop for these players?
Mount hopes it is a major trophy.
