Fort Worth Officials Respond Swiftly To The Death Of Atatiana Jefferson

A Fort Worth, Texas police officer shot and killed an innocent 28 year old black woman insider her home.

The officer has since resigned and faces criminal charges after he shot dead, reports Reuters.

Atatiana Jefferson was killed on Saturday at 2:30 a.m.

By a single shot from officer Aaron Dean.

Jefferson’s family on Monday called for a federal investigation and Dean’s swift prosecution.

The case has been presented to the FBI to review Dean’s actions for possible civil rights violations.
