'Joker' Gets Number One Spot At Box Office For Second Weekend

The “Joker” stayed on top of the box office for a second weekend with $55 million at 4,374 sites.

According to Reuters, in second place was “The Addams Family” with $30.3 million at 4,007 venues.

“Joker” only declined 43 percent from its opening weekend of $96.2 million.

Despite worries about its dark themes, the film became the fifth-largest domestic launch of 2019.

Fans of the film remained engaged with a 10-day total of more than $192 million.
