THE AGENCY ROLLED OUT NEWMONITORING REGULATIONS TODAY.THEY'RE MEANT TO HELP IMPROVETHE RESPONSE TIME TO ASITUATION.ONE BIG CHANGE ...LOCAL UTILITIES WILL NEED TOTEST PLACES LIKES DAYCARES ANDSCHOOLS FOR LEAD IN WATER.I AM VERY PLEASED TO REPORT..THAT OUT OF 673 SAMPLINGLOCATIONS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLSSO FAR.ONLY 9 FAUCETS AND FIXTURES INTHE STATE HAVE EXCEEDED THEPROJECT ACTION LEVEL.ALL 9 WERE SINK FAUCETS...AND NOT A SINGLE DRINKING WATERFOUNTAIN.CRITICS SAY THE PROPOSALDOESN'T GO FAR ENOUGH.THEY WANT THE E-P-A TO ADDRESSLEAD SERVICE-LINES ACROSS THEU-S.IF YOU WANT YOUR KIDS.....TO GET INTO A MAGNET SCHOOL
