Teenage climate campaigner Greta Thunberg told House lawmakers Wednesday, that she wants them to unite behind the science and to take real action on climate change.

The young Swedish campaigner appeared before the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia, Energy, and the Environment and the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis Wednesday.

She submitted the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Special Report on rising temperatures as her testimony.

Thunberg further made it clear to the panel that it's not about political opinion, the science is clear.
