Jurgen Klopp says Newcastle were difficult to play against following his side's 3-1 home victory.

The Reds were stunned as Steve Bruce's Newcastle claimed a shock early lead with a fine strike from Jetro Willems but they responded superbly.

Sadio Mane struck twice and Mohamed Salah added the third, while a lot of plaudits also went to fellow forward Roberto Firmino, who set up two goals in impressive display off the bench.
