Announced Walt Disney Co Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger will resign from the company’s board of directors.

According to Reuters, the two companies are preparing to compete in the streaming television business.

Iger left on the same day Apple revealed that Apple TV+ would cost $4.99 for the monthly service The company is spending billion in Hollywood to secure original programming to stream.

Apple TV+ will cost less than Disney+, which announced its prices a $6.99 per month.
