James Corden Responds To Bill Maher Wanting To Bring Back Fat-Shaming

Bill Maher recently talked about fighting the obesity epidemic in the U.S.by bringing back “fat-shaming.” He said the push for body acceptance needs to stop and “some amount of shame is good.” According to CNN, James Corden responded to Maher, saying mocking people’s bodies can lead to more harm.

He said obesity is a systematic health issues with many contributing factors.

Corden said: "There's a common and insulting misconception that fat people are stupid and lazy and we're not.”
