Twitter Blocks Selected Cuban Accounts, Including That Of Raul Castro

Twitter blocked the accounts off Cuban Communist Party Leader Raul Castro.

Additionally they blocked his daughter Mariela Castro and Cuba’s top state-run media outlets.

The Cuban Union of Journalists denounced the block as “massive censorship.” According to Reuters, Twitter said their platform’s manipulation policies prohibit users from using multiple accounts.

They said doing this artificially amplifies or disrupts conversations on the platform.
