NEYMAR JOGGING THROUGH A DRILL DURING TRAINING STORY: Neymar's fate with Paris Saint-Germain remained uncertain ahead of the side's Ligue 1 match against Toulouse on Sunday (August 25).
In a press conference at the team's training ground in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel said that Neymar "can't play" until the situation between him and the team is resolved.
The 27-year-old Brazilian joined the club in 2017 from Barcelona after a record transfer payment of 222 million euros ($246.2 million USD), but has been impeded by injuries in the past two seasons.
Spanish clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid have both made unsuccessful offers to PSG for Neymar.
Barcelona, Neymar's team from 2013 to 2017, are believed to have offered 100 million euros ($110.9 million USD) for him, as well as offering Philippe Coutinho as a replacement.
