Turkey Says It Will Go Elsewhere For F-35s If The U.S. Won't Sell Them
President Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey would turn elsewhere for fighter jets if the U.S. won't sell them.
Last week, the U.S. said it was removing NATO ally Turkey from the F-35 program.
This was in response to Turkey purchasing and receiving delivery of Russian S-400 missile defenses.
Washington has also threatened sanctions on Turkey, though Ankara has dismissed the warnings, Reuters reports.
As retaliation, Turkey has threatened it may reconsider its purchase of advanced Boeing aircraft from the United States.
