House Rep.

Katie Porter (D-CA) isn't part of "the squad." That's the four-woman group of freshman progressives of color who were attacked this week by President Donald Trump.

But according to CNN, that doesn't mean she's not a thorn in Trump's side.

Porter has emerged as a viral star when it comes to how banks and the government treat the working poor.

She's also a whiz at puncturing Trump's claims about the economy, and has asked top officials do basic math under oath.
