New Zealand are an extremely tough side, with a lot of experience, a lot of skill.

They were the best side in the group stage and they improved, very similar to us, from the group stage to the semifinal performance.

So we are striving to improve on our performance.

OLD FATHER TIME WEATHER VANE ON TOP OF STAND STORY: England captain Eoin Morgan says his team hope to inspire a generation by winning the World Cup on home soil on Sunday (July 13).

But the Irishman says he hasn't allowed himself to imagine lifting the trophy.

Morgan's side take on New Zealand at Lord's in the final of the competition, and go into the game as favourites after beating Australia comfortably in the semi final.

However Kane Williamson's team are in their second consecutive final and have already defied the odds by reaching this stage.

The Lord's wicket was greener than expected 24 hours before the start of the game, and although Morgan said he expected it to be drier and harder than it looks by the time of the toss, he still predicted a "battle" where a score of under 300 would be enough to win the trophy.
