It seems every fewmonths Angela Williams isadding a new picture to thiswall.

TC: 18:09:09 "It's aclub that no one wants tojoin." She's the founder andpresident of MAMA, MOTHERSAGAINT MURDERERS ASSOCIATION.For 16 years she's been goingto crime scenes, funerals andcourt to help grievingmothers.

TC: 18:15:43 "I hadno idea that years later I'dhave 425 mothers in my groupthat have lost their lovones and we just have to helpthese mothers because they gothrough so much outsidethese walls." Now Angela islooking forward to a newpartnership.

This weekendcommunity leaders in bothRiviera Beach and West PalmBeach are coming together toaddress violence in bothcommunities.

"We've been veryfrustrated for years, butthink I can throw all thatfrustration out the windownow." MAMA is just one of afew organizationsparticipating in the grassroots effort to minimize criin these areas.

The organizersof the event say they wantedto take a different approachbecause the old one wasn'tworking.

"I'm hoping to seethe state attorney's office,member of the school board,both mayors offices and bopolice departments just havinga strong presence there."Pastor Bryce Graham says hehopes this upcoming day offood fun and serioconversations will spark moreoutreach programs in the city.TC: 18:26:44 "Our people havebeen sick of it, we've beentired of marching anddemonstrating now it's time tosee a greater change andgreater effort to move ourcities forward."
