'Fog' Fills American Airlines Flight in Nicaragua

Jason Kral captured video of fog filling the inside of an American Airlines flight that was diverted to Managua, Nicaragua, on June 8.

Kral shared the footage on Twitter after his flight from Miami was diverted from Costa Rica to Nicaragua.

The fog seen inside the flight is known to happen when hot and humid outside air rapidly condenses upon contact with the aircraft’s onboard air conditioning unit, creating a mist of water vapor.
