The Irish Island Of Arranmore Wants Americans To Move There
The picturesque Irish island of Arranmore has had a waning population since the 19th century with a current population of 469 residents.
To keep their community alive, islanders have written letters to the U.S. and Australia, asking them to consider moving to the island.
Arranmore hopes the island's unspoiled beaches, close-knit community, and high-speed internet will lure remote workers.
According to CNN, the weather isn't spectacular but the landscape more than makes up for the rainy spells.
