'Star Wars: Episode IX' Could Boost Disney Stock

The December release of "Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker" could drive Disney's stock higher.

That estimate comes from the BMO Capital Markets analyst Daniel Salmon.

Disney's shares have soared 17% in the past month.

Business Insider reports the boost was helped by the record-breaking performance of "Avengers: Endgame." Endgame racked up more than $2 billion at the box office in two weeks.
