(SOUNDBITE) (English) WOMEN'S WINNER TAHNEE SEAGRAVE SAYING: "Kept watching Rachel (Atherton) come down, it was so tight and, like, it's just an amazing feeling if I would've won or lost so just all those emotions like you say, they were mental, absolutely crazy, and the same when Tracey (Hannah) came down, she pulled a load of time on us yesterday so yeah I was so scared." 8.

TOP FIVE WOMEN'S FINISHERS ON PODIUM STORY: Loic Bruni and Tahnee Seagrave raced to wins at the season opening downhill event of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Slovenia.

Frenchman Bruni navigated the fast, bumpy dirt course in 2 minutes, 58.839 seconds to top the men's timesheets with Brit Danny Hart just 0.404 seconds slower to earn second place and Aussie Troy Brosnan 0.764 seconds back to take third.

Seagrave, from Britain, won the women's event with a best run of 3:25.888 with countrywoman Rachel Atherton 0.855 seconds behind to place second and Australian Tracey Hannah more than two seconds off the pace in 3rd place.

The next MTB World Cup downhill event is scheduled for June 1-2 in Fort William, Scotland while the next XCO (cross country) event will be held in Albstadt, Germany on May 18-19.
