We played against the favourite team to win the Champions League, but with our philosophy, we have again crossed the limits." 2.

(SOUNDBITE) (Dutch) AJAX COACH, ERIK TEN HAG, SAYING: (OFFICIAL TRANSLATION) "Now it is very difficult to talk about this.

In our journey we have been to many countries: Portugal, Spain, Italy and still England is missing.

This will be the next challenge, (Manchester City's coach Pep) Guardiola's philosophy is very close to mine.

I can say that they will be fantastic challenges." 3.

(SOUNDBITE) (Italian) JUVENTUS COACH, MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI, SAYING: "I spoke with the President (of Juventus Andrea Agnelli) a couple of days ago with the idea of meeting us again.

I have already made my decision and not today but for some time.

I have a contract and therefore my intention it's to stay at Juventus because there's still a lot of work to do." 4.

(SOUNDBITE) (Italian) JUVENTUS COACH, MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI, SAYING: "Cristiano (Ronaldo) played well, like the other players, and he was important because he scored the first goal on an inactive ball.

He is sad, we are all sad, it's normal." STORY: Ajax Amsterdam followed up their elimination of Real Madrid by producing a spell-binding display of inventive, passing football to win 2-1 away to Juventus on Tuesday (April 16) and end the Serie A team's dreams of winning the Champions League.

Once regarded as a major power in European football, Ajax have in the last 10 years have become a feeder club, signing players at a young age, helping them mature and developing their game before selling them on.

Even so they have been able to build a young team that plays exciting, fluid football.

"We were not the favourites, we played against the favourite team to win the Champions League but with our philosophy we have again crossed the limits", said Ajax coach Erik ten Hag.

Ajax will face Manchester City or Tottenham in the next round but ten Hag is calm and said next matches, maybe against Guardiola's Manchester City, will be a fantastic challenge.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri dismissed speculation about his future following their Champions League exit, saying he would be at the club next season.

Allegri, who has led Juventus to four successive league and cup doubles and two Champions League finals, said he had already discussed the matter with club president Andrea Agnelli following their 2-1 defeat in the quarter-final second leg.

"I have a contract and therefore my intention it's to stay at Juventus because there's still a lot of work to do," said Allegri, whose side will win an eighth successive Serie A title if they draw at home to Fiorentina on Saturday (April 20).

Juventus signed five-times World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo this season in their bid to add the Champions League to their domestic dominance.

However, Allegri has tried to play down expectations all along.

"Cristiano played well, like the other players, and he was important because he scored the first goal on an inactive ball.

He is sad, we are all sad, it's normal", he said.
