According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, Prime Minister Theresa May must present a clear and credible solution to the turmoil surrounding Britain's exit from the European Union in order for France to accept a delay.

French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire reportedly said, "There is need for clarity on why the delay and how it will in the end facilitate an agreement." Reuters reports that when asked if a no-deal Brexit was an inevitable outcome, Le Maire replied, "I prefer an agreement.
