Children Reported Among Victims in Strike Near School in Sanaa
Houthi media said at least 13 people were killed on April 7 in what they said was an airstrike by the Saudi-led coalition near a school in Sanaa.
Seven children were said to be among the dead, and some 100 people were reported wounded.The Saudi-led coalition denied it carried out the attack, the Associated Press said.Pro-government sources said the strike had targeted a weapons storehouse in the area.
Videos from the scene showed scenes of panic at a school next to the intended target.Karem Alzerii, a local journalist, visited the school that was said to have been damaged in the strike.
He posted this footage, showing abandoned schoolbags, shoes and other items piled up in hallways and stairwells of the school.
