Facebook Looks To Restrict Who Can Livestream Following Christchurch Attack

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg said that the company was looking to restrict live video following the streaming of footage of the Christchurch massacre on its platforms. The company will reportedly monitor who can go "live" on Facebook determined by factors such as prior community standard violations.

Facebook has reportedly identified over 900 different videos showing portions of the New Zealand massacre in which a lone gunman killed 50 people.
