SDF Vows To Continue Fight Against Islamic State Sleeper Cells

According to a report by Reuters, on Saturday, US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces formally announced the end of Islamic State's control of land in eastern Syria, but said that it would continue its campaign to combat jihadist sleeper cells.

The SDF's general command called on the Syrian government to recognize the autonomous administration that runs areas the SDF controls in northeast Syria.
