If The UK Can't Make A Brexit Deal, This Is What Will Happen To EU Citizens In Britain

Reuters reports the UK government may seek to end free movement as soon as possible.

But according to the UK Home Office, that day would only come if the UK leaves the European Union without a deal.

The Home office said in a statement that a transitional period would apply to citizens of the EEA and their family members, including Swiss citizens.

They would be able to come to the UK for visits, work or study and will be able to enter the UK as they do now.
