Southwest Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Engine Explodes

Southwest Airlines flight 1380 from New York to Dallas made an emergency landing in Dallas today.

One of the plane’s engines reportedly exploded, breaking a window.

A father of a passenger said a female passenger was being sucked out of the broken window before being “pulled back in.” That passenger was reportedly rushed to the hospital upon landing.

The aircraft had 143 customers and five crew members onboard.

It has not yet been confirmed that anyone died on the flight.
