county walked out of class this morning... >>rob vaughn: it's part of a nationwide effort. students staged wal? outs and rallies to honor the 17 victims of the deadly school shooting in parkland, florida, which happened one month ago today. they also called for an end to gun violence. >>wendy davis: we have live team coverage of today's wal?outs and events.. we'll start with katiera winfrey.. she is live at governor mifflin high school in shillington. >>> katiera winfrey: governor mifflin students were some of the few in berks who actually walked out of the building. for 17 minutes they stood below the flag. other schools participated in the wal?out by staying inside and doing activities. students say the point of it all is the same.
