Italian nursing homes lacked tools for COVID-19 onslaught, survey shows

Italy's nursing homes, where the COVID-19 epidemic is believed to have killed thousands of people, did not have the equipment needed to protect staff or residents, a survey by the country's top health body showed on Wednesday.
