Poland, Hungary scolded for flouting 'European values' during pandemic

The European Union's (EU) legislature rebuked nationalist-ruled members Poland and Hungary on Friday for flouting "European values" by pressing ahead with an election and assuming extra powers respectively during the coronavirus crisis.
