In spite of being the 'dargah' of a Muslim saint, Hindus and Sikh devotees who flock this religious place particularly on Thursdays are far greater in number than the Muslim followers. The devotees of Peer Baba have many interesting stories to share.

Aisha Rosalie and herhusband Sultan Akhtar met online just weeks before restrictions came intoforce and said lockdown gave them a “sense of fear” about the future. Thatencouraged them to speed up their relationship — at one point even consideringan online marriage. Aisha, 23, said: “We didn’t see each other for threemonths, we spoke every single day. We were just so topsy turvy because wedidn’t have that in-person contact. “When you take your time to sit and think,wow I want to be with someone. I want to share everything I am going through,I want to share my successes and my failures with someone — being in lockdownforces you think like that.” After a whirlwind romance, they were married in asmall nikah ceremony in July. A nikah ceremony is an Islamic wedding ceremony,where the marriage contract is signed.
