Donald Trump tells AOC and Ilhan Omar to 'go back' to their 'original' countries

Independent Sunday, 14 July 2019
US President Donald Trump has said that some Democrat congresswomen from countries "whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe" should "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came." Whilst it is not explicitly clear to whom he is referring, it comes after the president launched an extraordinary attack on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar – both women of colour – saying he "doesn't even know where they came from".
