Another week closer to Christmas, and what a week in news it’s been! A lot can happen in seven days, which is why we’re always here to bring you up to speed with a weekly digest on the biggest and most interesting stories of the week. Here’s our rundown of the headline-capturing stories you may have missed this past week!

Theresa May’s Brexit Chaos Continues
In a week where British Prime Minister Theresa May managed to pass through her plan to appeal to the European Union re Brexit through her Cabinet, many were not happy with the decision. Several ministers, including those in Cabinet positions, resigned – leaving pressing discussion as to whether or not May would be facing a vote of no confidence in the days to come. At the time of writing, this move is yet to be made – but some feel it is only a matter of time. Letters have already been filed – is the writing on the wall for Theresa May?

Stan Lee Passes Away
Marvel comic legend Stan Lee sadly passed away this week at the age of 95, leading to a colossal outpouring of tributes from Hollywood and from the entertainment world. The one-time publisher helped to build the Marvel brand and a number of our best-known superheroes into household names, and was regularly appearing at comic conventions and in short cameos in Marvel movies up until his passing. His legacy is incredible – and he will be greatly missed.

More Martin on The Way
Game of Thrones fans are starting to feel the hype start to burn, as George RR Martin’s immensely popular HBO series is set to return in April 2019 for its final season. What’s more, Hulu are thought to be working on adapting the author’s Wild Cards series, which currently comprises of 27 novels already. It’s another colossal world of characters for viewers to get stuck into!

A Return to the Wizarding World – With Lukewarm Reception
