Nevada orders casinos, all other nonessential businesses to close
Wednesday, 18 March 2020 Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak shut down all nonessential businesses, including the Las Vegas casinos at the heart of the state's economy, as part of steps to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered a sweeping statewide shutdown of casinos and announced the closure of nonessential businesses for the next 30 days. However, there is still confusion as to what companies can remain open and which ones should be close.
